Earth Day

THERE IS NOPLANET B!

Saturday, April 22, is Earth Day... And it’s worth repeating, There is no planet B!!! Every little bit of recycling, conservation, and appreciation of our beautiful earth go a long way. Some ways to celebrate Earth Day are: create compost for backyard garden, plant a tree in your backyard, organize a neighborhood cleanup, or plant a vegetable garden! These are all wonderful ways to keep mother Earth happy.

Last year, Devon and her family volunteered to clean up the Charles River right here in Boston!

This year for Earth Day, Devon is attending Tulip Mania at Elm Bank in Wellesley! Come take in the floral beauty and bask in everything Mother Earth has to offer.

MORE FUN WAYS TO CELEBRATE Earth Day in the Boston Area:

Ecstatic Dance at Down Under at Porter Square Cambridge:

RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU ARE READY FOR SOME FUN! If you want to jump for joy now that spring is here, well here is the perfect opportunity to dust off any winter blues. Kick off your shoes and spread your wings at Down Under Yoga in Porter Square Cambridge at their Ecstatic Dance Party on Earth Day night: According to their website....At Ecstatic Dance you have no one to impress, our attention is focused in ourselves so you can be utterly yourself, getting down, breathing, letting loose, allowing your emotions, dreams and prayers to dance themselves. This practice can help free your mind and body while connecting with your Self, others, and the Greater Spirit in a safe and healthy way. The beauty of ecstatic dance lies in its ability to bring us together and create a sense of community. This form of Dance encourages people to move their bodies in any way that feels natural to them, without any judgment or criticism. (Must sign up in advance). We tried this once, and it’s a lot of fun and very freeing...

If dancing is not your thing but you like live music, come here the great sounds and cool vibes of Sarah Colb and the Sagamore James Band. They will be playing at the Square Root in Roslindale on Earth Day evening. Check the club for time.
