Hats Off to the Grads

What a proud time of year. Our graduates celebrate, and are recognized for all their hard work. And let’s face it, with all that is going on in the world these days, and all the distractions, it's truly an accomplishment when one is able to reach the finish line. We applaud all our grads, and in particular.....

Devon couldn’t be prouder of her son Henry. He is graduating sixth grade from the highly regarded Park Street School in Beacon Hill, Boston. Henry worked hard all year, and we say a well-deserved congratulations, and wish him a fun-filled summer. We’re sure he has some great adventures planned.

And, as tradition demands, there are those commencement speeches. Here in Boston, as the grads fidget in their chairs, there will be some true luminaires ready to inspire the graduating classes of 2023. Here are some of the speakers who will address the college graduates in Massachusetts this commencement season.

Tom Hanks at Harvard University, May 25th

Katie Couric at U Mass Chan Medical June 4th

Charlie Baker, former Massachusetts Governor, Bentley University, May 20th

And on May 13th, Usher (music superstar) graced the stage at Boston University’s Agganis Arena to give the commencement speech for Berklee College of Music. We heard he told the graduates “Keep running past the finish line. Break the barriers, and identify that spark in you that motivates you to keep going! Take what you learned here and go into the world and make great things!”  Well said, Global megastar and eight-time Grammy Award winner.
