🍽️ 2. Deluxe Town Diner — Watertown (Devon’s old stomping ground)

A vintage train-car setting that’s been serving classic American diner food since 1947. Try their famous chicken livers or go for the "hungry person special" (pancakes, eggs, home fries, meat + bottomless coffee). It’s big-portions, comfort food at its best—and it even made it into a Blue Man Group music video!

Opened in 2010, Mass Ave brings modern energy to the classic diner formula. Regulars love the Reuben and their indulgent fruit pancakes (blackberry-raspberry with banana and maple syrup). It’s the perfect counterpoint: retro in style, contemporary in flavor.

Status: Open, seven days a week (6 a.m. to early afternoon) They close at three.

Vibe & Menu: A true 1950s-style diner, complete with retro decor and hearty American comfort food. Generous portions of breakfast classics shine—like corned beef and eggs, huge omelets, pancakes—with friendly, efficient service. 

Why Go: A reliable local favorite that feels like stepping back in time—perfect for family breakfast or brunch with generous portions and good old-fashioned diner charm.

Status: Still operating; part of the Mountain View Diners Co. family of vintage stainless diners
