BEST PIZZA SPOTS

Here are five standout picks on the best pizza in the Boston/New England area—chosen for their quality, local love, and variety:

🍕 1. Pinochio’s (Harvard Square, Cambridge)

A Harvard Square institution—thick Sicilian slices, loyal late-night crowds, and that perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio. A must-try for classic, satisfying slices.
Beloved by students and locals alike, Pinochio’s has been serving up hearty comfort food for decades. Grab a slice and sit on the brick patio, soaking in the college-town charm. Just another reason to love Harvard Square!

🍕 2. Picco (South End, Boston)

Thin, charred crust meets gourmet toppings. Their pizza is wood-fired perfection—and they also serve house-made ice cream, so bonus points for dessert lovers.
Expect creative combinations, like sausage and banana peppers or white pies with fontina and arugula. It’s upscale casual with a cult following, and worth the wait.

🍕 3. Armando’s (Cambridge)

Old-school, no-frills, and always delicious. A family-run legend with that nostalgic neighborhood pizzeria feel and crisp, cheesy slices.
This place has heart—locals have been coming here for generations. The pepperoni is classic, the crust always golden, and the vibe is pure Cambridge comfort. We guess this is one of Scott’s favorites. And we believe if Tony Soprano was still alive, he’d be eating at Armando’s! Also steps from our listing closing in September.

🍕 4. Flatbread Pizza Company (VT and across New England)

Organic, locally sourced ingredients baked in wood-fired clay ovens—this is where New England meets artisan pizza. Great for families and cozy vibes.
Each location has its own rustic charm, and the menu features thoughtful options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. Don’t skip the homemade lemonade or seasonal salads. And Devon wanted us to let you know that many Flatbread Locations have bowling! How cool is that. It’s an awesome day/night with the family.

🍕 5. Easy Pie (Revere)

Wild topping combos (think mac & cheese or loaded nachos on pizza), but they make it work. Funky, bold, and full of flavor—perfect for adventurous eaters.
The vibe is casual and creative, with graffiti art on the walls and a fearless approach to food. If you're bored of plain cheese, this is your playground. Our writer Renee, might move back to Revere for this one!
