🍻 Drawdown Brewing – Jamaica Plain, Boston

Founded by Liz Nicol, Drawdown Brewing is a woman- and LGBTQ+-owned brewery that has quickly become a community favorite. Recognized by Boston Magazine as the "Best Place to Watch Women’s Sports," it's celebrated for its inclusive atmosphere and commitment to diversity.

🍺 Alewives Taproom – Downtown Boston

Owned and operated by Allison Fisher, Alewives Taproom is situated within the High Street Place food hall. It features a curated selection of local craft beers, including offerings from Newburyport Brewing Co., and provides a welcoming space for beer enthusiasts.

🍻 Remnant Brewing – Somerville

Located in Union Square, Remnant Brewing became one of the few women- and brewer-owned breweries in the country after two longtime team members became vested owners in 2023. They are known for their innovative beers and commitment to community engagement. 

  • Specialty pop-ups like iced-coffee clubs, vinyl dance parties, raw-bar rosé days, and annual Oktoberfest 

  • Friday “Move Your Body” DJ Nights – Dance the evening away with local DJs 

  • Wednesday Run Club – Meet at 6:30 PM for 3- or 5-mile routes, followed by a pint remnantsomerville.com

  • Monday Bluegrass & BBQ – 8–10:30 PM; rotating bands and hearty eats 

  • Saturday Americana & Rock Nights – Afternoon Americana sets (3–5 PM) and evening live rock (8–11 PM) 

 

🍺 Twisted Fate Brewing – Danvers

A majority woman-owned brewery, Twisted Fate was co-founded by Kim McNamara and Erica Tritta. They offer a variety of unique brews, including peanut butter stouts and rotating sours, reflecting their passion for craft beer. 

Live Music Saturday nights at seven.

 

🍻 CraftRoots Brewing – Milford

Founded by Maureen Fabry and her wife, CraftRoots Brewing is the first brick-and-mortar brewery in Massachusetts completely run by women. They focus on producing fresh, local beers with a commitment to community and sustainability.

🍺 Hot Plate Brewing Co. – Pittsfield

Owned by a Latina woman, Hot Plate Brewing Co. has gained national attention for its Belgian-style ales and commitment to diversity in the craft beer industry. It was recently named one of the top 10 breweries in the U.S. by Punch

In July 2025, Hot Plate Brewing Co. will host a series of free outdoor concerts in Dunham Mall, Pittsfield, called "The Pitt". The music series will feature various artists on Fridays, with food available from Handcrafted and a beer garden from Hot Plate Brewing. Specific events include: 

  • July 11: Cold Chocolate

  • July 18: The Wolves

  • July 25: The Nate Martel Band

Additionally, Hot Plate Brewing will host Taproom Trivia on Tuesdays, including July 1, 15, and 29. A Silent Book Club meeting will also be held on July 2, according to lovepittsfield.com.
