ESPLANADE DOCK PARTY

The Esplanade Association’s Annual Summer Dock Party is set to be a highlight of Boston's summer social calendar in July 2025. 

Devon’s been attending this amazing event since her early twenties and promises it never disappoints. “It’s a fantastic night of entertainment and nonstop laughs right on the dock,” she says. On especially picturesque evenings, you’ll be treated to breathtaking sunsets that cast a golden glow over the water. Just be sure to check the weather before planning your outfit! It’s super fun whether you’re going with a group of friends or flying solo—you’re almost guaranteed to bump into someone you know or make new connections. If the weather holds, end the night with a peaceful stroll along the river or a cozy visit to a favorite Charles Street spot.

• 📅 Date & Time: Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM

• 📍 Location: Community Boating, Inc. and Eliot Memorial Garden, along the Charles River Esplanade

• 🎟️ Tickets: Early-bird tickets will be available until July 10, 2025, at 11:59 PM. All tickets include a $25 tax-deductible donation.

• Scenic Setting: Celebrate against the stunning backdrop of the Charles River at sunset.

• Entertainment: Dance the evening away with music from a live DJ.

• Refreshments: Enjoy delicious food and refreshing beverages.

• Community: Join approximately 400 guests in supporting the Esplanade Association's mission to revitalize and maintain the park. And you know Devon will be one of them!

🚗 Getting There

• Public Transit: Take the Red Line to Charles/MGH Station.

• Walking Directions: Use the Fanny Appleton Footbridge to access Community Boating, Inc.

• Parking: Please note there is no parking available at Community Boating, Inc. or on the Esplanade. 

🌧️ Weather Policy

The event is rain or shine. Tents will provide cover in case of rain. In the event of dangerous weather conditions, organizers will assess the necessity to cancel. All ticket sales are final.
