The Month of Love

We like calling February the MONTH of LOVE. And that means getting closer to those you love. What better way than with deep and engaging conversations? In our search for some of the best ways to spend February, we believe that Conversation Decks come out on top. They are truly awesome. And, since February is also relationship wellness month, getting closer and staying connected to others is a key to staying healthy. So bring on these conversation decks and let’s get talking. These decks are lovely and colorful cards printed out with thought provoking questions that offer a framework to embrace humanity, vulnerability, and develop better conversation habits. Wow, sign us up!

Some sample questions: What is your internal gas tank? What do you regret not doing when you were younger? What do you need in order to grow? What’s your favorite travel misadventure? When was the last time you felt truly creative? We love these and look forward to connecting and deepening our bonds with those we love or want to get to know better.
We suggest: Icebreaker Deck by Best Self Co. Down to Earth Deck by Loam, or In our Feelings on Amazon. And they even have special ones just for couples!
Do something different to open your world. Other sites might suggest the most romantic places to dine, or where you can find the freshest most exotic flowers, that’s nice, but we want to expand a bit and help your own relationship blossom like those flowers. How about holding hands and ice-skating together. You can go right to Boston Common! And, there are plenty of warm places to go later. Your cheeks will be rosy, you and your significant other will feel invigorated and you will relax later and bask in the shared memory of a new experience. And for those single ladies, grab your bestie and lace up those skates. It’s fun for all.
Some creative stay at home fun: Whip up a cocktail at the homebar to go with that special film you watch together. Sip and cuddle up under a soft new couch comforter. How about homemade Pineapple Mai Tai’s while watching Couple’s Retreat, a Super Tuscan wine for Moonstruck, Sexy French 75’s for Casablanca, Vesper Martini’s for James Bond. We also got really creative and made up our very own drinks for the romantic films Princess Bride and Dirty Dancing. We call it the Dirty Bride. Its prosecco topped with Black Current San Pelligrino and sprinkled with pomegranate seeds. Cheers~*
