Historic New England

Historic New England is an organization dedicated to preserving the region's cultural and architectural heritage, with its headquarters on Newbury Street in Boston. It operates as the oldest and largest regional heritage organization in the United States, managing more than 38 historic properties across New England. These properties include historic homes, farms, and landscapes that reflect the region's history from the 17th century to the 20th century.

The Newbury Street location is primarily used for administrative purposes, including its archives and a space for exhibitions, educational programs, and public events. Visitors to Historic New England can engage in activities like tours of historic properties, preservation workshops, and access to its extensive collection of historical artifacts, photographs, and documents that showcase the architectural and social history of New England.
