Henderson House in Weston is a striking English Tudor Revival mansion perched atop a wooded hill with sweeping views, built in 1927–28 as the last great summer estate in the area. Originally commissioned by wool magnate Edward Peirce, the house features elaborate stone and half-timbered architecture with richly detailed woodwork, ironwork, and stone inside, capturing the grandeur of the estate era around Boston. Over the decades it has served as a university conference center and event venue, hosting dignitaries and gatherings while retaining its historic charm, and today stands proudly on the National Register of Historic Places as a timeless local landmark.
