Sauna Serenity

Introduce the soothing warmth of a sauna to your home—a space where you can  unwind and rejuvenate. Saunas are not only excellent for relaxation but also offer  potential health benefits, promoting circulation and reducing muscle tension. 

  • Traditional Sauna: Typically made of wood, these saunas use dry heat produced by  rocks and a heater. 

  • Infrared Sauna: Uses infrared heaters to emit radiant heat, offering a different  experience than traditional saunas. 

  • Choose a Suitable Location: Consider available space, ventilation, and proximity to bathroom/shower facilities. Basements, spare rooms, or even outdoor spaces are common choices.

  • Plan for Ventilation: Adequate ventilation is crucial to maintain air quality. Ensure the sauna has proper  ventilation, such as vents and an exhaust system. And of course, you may have to  consult with your electrician and contractor. But we think this is surely worth the consideration. It is well known that Cleopatra used sweet milk in beauty treatments to brighten her complexion. Traditional rural cultures have also used sweet  milk for the very same reason, making it as familiar on a farmhouse  dressing table as in the kitchen cupboard. One of our very favorite skin  care companies, and one of Renee’s Raves: Farmaesthetics (found only in the best hotels and spa’s world wide), created Sweet Milk & Chamomile Flower Facial Exfoliate as a whole organic lactic acid delivery  system to dissolve dead skin cells while feeding tissue with the healthy  carbs and fats found in milk. Blue Tansy

This is one of the most difficult to procure ingredients she incorporates into  her formulas, and one of the most often adulterated. While a quick Google search  will turn up many outlets that offer “blue tansy” for sale, lab testing will verify that  many readily available sources are cut with chamomile and colored with dyes - none of this listed in the ingredients labeling, and is often unbeknownst to even  those selling or developing products with it. 

Much goes on in the steps between the harvesting farms, multiple middlemen and  brokers, and the final consumer - particularly with the most expensive exotic oils,  such as this one. Adulteration and misrepresentation is a troubling and prolific part  of this industry, and one we dedicate vast efforts and resources to overcome. We have been working tirelessly over the years to secure our relationships with  incredible farms who grow and harvest this powerful plant for us at the highest  level of potency and efficacy and who can ensure each season that we are delivered  only the purest, safest, and most effective and authentic extraction of true-blue tansy (tanacetum annuum) on the planet.
