2025 Easter Egg Hunts

That long stretch of winter after the holidays can feel endless — until you remember that Easter egg hunts are right around the corner! Suddenly, there’s pastel décor, blooming flowers, and the perfect excuse to add some color back into your wardrobe.

Sure, Easter games and egg hunts might seem like they’re just for kids, but let’s be real—there’s plenty for adults to enjoy, too. Whether you’re hosting a backyard hunt, organizing something fun at a local park, or even planning a getaway to a warm destination, there are so many ways to make Easter feel special. Sometimes we think Devon is the Easter Bunny, she’s taken Henry to many Easter Egg hunts over the years….

And here are some Easter Egg Hunts scheduled for 2025. Grab your Easter bonnet and we’ll see you there!

Easter Egg Hunt - April 12, 2025 Wellesley Hills Church from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

The Easter Bunny is Coming April 12!

HOP ON OVER  to the annual Easter Egg Hunt!  We’ll have activities for kids of all ages and refreshments for the whole family.  The event will be held on April 12 from 9 am to 11 am at the Wellesley Hills Church.

Enjoy breakfast, cute baby animals, crafts, Easter Bunny visits, and of course the Egg Hunt (with prizes)!

Rain or shine. The Hunt will move indoors in the event of inclement weather.

Suggested donation $5 per person with a family max of $25.

Pay at the door or online.

This beloved community event invites children to hunt for eggs at local businesses around Roslindale Village. The eggs are filled with toys, making the hunt allergen-friendly. The event often features live performances, lawn games, kid’s crafts, snacks, and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Appleton Farms Bunny Trail Hop

Saturday, April 19, 2025 Time: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Entry any time within this window. Spring is a time of renewal and excitement at Appleton Farms! Join them to celebrate, explore, and engage with their animals and gardens as you “hop” along the farmyard to different interactive learning stations. From helping in their garden and creating a native seed-bomb, to petting their Angora bunnies, feeding the goats, learning about wool, and felting eggs, your child will be immersed in the Springtime activities of the farm. Collect an egg stamp at each station and take your fully-stamped Trail Hop “passport” to the Farmhouse to collect your special treat!.

While you’re there, don’t forget to swing by the Farm Store for all of your Easter baked goods, farm meat and; produce and gifting needs or visit their snack table at the Farmhouse for treats from their culinary team. This unique event is for children and their families. Tickets for accompanying adults are required. Activities are appropriate for toddlers up to age 12 and will take place in the educational farmyard.

Children under 2 are free. Entrance to the event is permitted anytime between 11:30 and 2:30pm. Plan for approximately 1 hour of time for your scavenger hunt. This event will be held rain or shine with some outdoor elements. Refunds will not be granted if the event is still held. Please dress accordingly. In the event of severe weather, a cancellation email will be sent.

Long Hill Spring Egg Hunt Trail

Saturday, April 12, 2025 Time: 10:00am - 12:00 pm.

Shake off the winter cold and join them as they celebrate springtime at Long Hill with their very special Spring Egg Hunt Trail! During this fun, family event, you’ll explore the trail and complete an exciting scavenger hunt as you go. Then, spend some time creating a spring-themed craft and visit the petting zoo on site. This springtime celebration is perfect for the whole family. Space is limited; pre-registration is required.

Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. The petting zoo will be available from 11AM to 1PM; please plan accordingly. Due to uneven terrain and stairs, the trail is not recommended for strollers or wheelchairs. Please dress appropriately for the weather; sturdy shoes are encouraged. Please note that this is not a traditional Easter Egg Hunt. Baskets to collect eggs will not be necessary.

Bring your own basket/bag for a fun-filled Easter Egg hunt for ages 12-under, held at the Family Activities Park on Saturday, April 19, 2025. A Special Needs Hunt kicks off the event at 10 a.m. The four age division Egg Hunts takes place starting at 11 a.m. with the 0-2 Year-Olds, followed by the older divisions. The Park will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
